This Bedford garden began as a blank canvas of grass with no real purpose. The brief called for a low maintenance space split into a series of outdoor rooms, each with its own job to do, tied together with a modern planting scheme and contemporary materials. The finished garden went beyond what the clients expected. High quality materials give the space structure and flow, letting the planting take centre stage, while the layout has turned the garden into a genuine extension of the house, a space the whole family uses for relaxing and entertaining.
